Factory Supervisor

Introduction
Hippo Transport, trading as Waste Company Lesotho, is proud to announce the implementation of a textile recycling pilot project in Maputsoe, Lesotho.
Job Purpose
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Factory Supervisor to oversee operations at our rag tearing facility under this pilot project. The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring productivity, equipment uptime, safety, and quality across all stages of the textile recycling process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production floor operations and supervise staff
- Ensure proper functioning and routine maintenance of equipment
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies
- Track quantities of textile waste processed and final outputs
- Collaborate with logistics for waste collection and delivery
- Support commercialization and packaging of final recycled products
Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in factory or recycling plant supervision
- Familiarity with textile processing machinery and health & safety standards
- Basic reporting skills and ability to track inputs/outputs
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and initiative
