Assignment Title: Fabrication and Delivery of Modular Units

- The Government of Lesotho has received funding from the Global Fund’s New Funding Model three (NFM 3) Grant to support interventions intended to fight HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis. As part of this initiative, a portion of the funds has been allocated to various ministries for the procurement of modular units. The Ministry of Health will use these units for the establishment of male clinics and provide extra storage for the Mafeteng Hospital Pharmacy. The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship, Police, and Home Affairs will utilize the modular units as safe spaces for survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). These prefabricated units will provide a secure environment where GBV survivors can seek refuge, support, and assistance. the Ministry of Gender will employ the modular units as safe homes for GBV survivors. These spaces will offer shelter, protection, and comprehensive support services to individuals affected by GBV, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- The Global Fund provides direct financial support for the government of Lesotho’s HIV/TB prevention program, through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning-Project Management Unit (MOFDP-PMU) which serves as the Principal Recipient of these funds. The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning Project Management Unit (MOFDP-PMU) now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Tenderers for Fabrication and delivery of Modular Units
- Tendering will be conducted through competitive procurement using anInvitation for Tenders (ITT) as specified in the Lesotho’s “Public Procurement Act, 2023 and the “MOFDP-PMU Operations Procedure and Manual (OPPM)”) and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the detailed tender document.
- Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and request clarification from [email protected] and inspect the tender document during office hours. 0800 to 1600 hoursat the address given below
- The tender document with respective addenda in English may be obtainedby interested eligible Tenderers from the MOFDP-PMU offices. Detailed Tender Document will be available for free download on this link https://www.mofpmu.org.ls/under adverts and tenders.
- Tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before10:00am,20th October 2023Late Tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address on 10:10 am, 20th October 2023
