Letshego Financial Services has exciting opportunities in Collections, with six positions available. The role offers commission-based remuneration.

𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞

Ensure prompt collection of payments from defaulted clients. Manage and address arrears delinquency. Develop strategies to improve the performance of the loan book.

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

A Bachelor’s degree Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics.

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

Minimum 2 years’ experience as Collection Officer in the Financial Institutions.

𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

• Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build business professional relationships.

• Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record in Collections and Recoveries.

• Excellent Collection, negotiation and communication skills.

• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the Client needs.

𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬 /𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

• Extracts daily loan arrears and review the status of the accounts from the system.

• Prepare and analyses monthly arrears reports. Data Remediation as frequently as possible.

• Attend to and resolve clients’ queries within the agreed TAT.

• Contact and attend to those with unpaid instalments.

• Prepare strategies for the work you will doing the nest morning. Best strategies gives good results.

• Frequently up-date information in the system.

• Ensure payments from defaulted clients are collected promptly by Lodge instalments on the system and preparing for debit order runs with Banks.

• Attend to unbatched and unprocessed refunds accounts.

• Ensure that all operational activity aligns with credit control objectives.

• Ensure that the arrears delinquency grouping and roll rate is according to the buckets and done every month.

• Ensure that manual write-offs are done and checked for overdue accounts.

• Ensure that defaulting clients are rehabilitated and offered financial literacy.

• Ensure that all credit procedures and controls are adhered to (Work in line with mapped processes).

• Restructure and Rephasements management.
