ADVERTISEMENT FOR EXTERNAL AUDITOR SERVICES
Habitat for Humanity Lesotho (HFHL), a Christian non-profit housing organization dedicated to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter, hereby invites eligible, experienced, and reputable audit firms to submit proposals for the provision of external auditing services for the financial year ending June 30, 2025 (12 months: July 2024 to June 2025).
The selected firm will be expected to conduct an independent external audit in accordance with the standards of the Lesotho Institute of Accountants (LIA) and issue an audit report on the financial statements of Habitat for Humanity Lesotho, in line with donor requirements and internal policies.
Eligibility Requirements
- Valid business registration and practicing license
- LIA membership certificate
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in auditing NGOs and donor-funded projects
- Familiarity with non-profit financial reporting frameworks
- Strong ethical standing and adherence to Lesotho auditing standards
- Company profile with referees
Safeguarding Policy
Habitat for Humanity Lesotho has a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abuse, exploitation, or misconduct. All service providers and contractors, including external auditors, are expected to commit to Habitat’s safeguarding principles, including the protection of children and vulnerable adults. Shortlisted firms will be required to sign HFHL’s safeguarding declaration and demonstrate adherence to ethical codes of conduct.
