TENDER TITLE
PRIVATE VEHICLES SHORT‑TERM HIRE FOR BUREAU OF STATISTICS – POPULATION AND HOUSING CENSUS 2026
1. INTRODUCTION
The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP), through the Bureau of Statistics (BOS), has been allocated funds by the Government of Lesotho (GOL) for the implementation of the 2026 Population and Housing Census Project.
The Ministry intends to apply part of the budget towards the hire of three hundred and seventy (370) pick‑up trucks for use during the Census. The main purpose of the project is to provide Government and stakeholders with information on socio‑economic and demographic characteristics of the population, as well as housing characteristics.
AVAILABILITY OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS
A complete set of bidding documents in English will be available to interested bidders upon payment of a non‑refundable fee of LSL 1,000.00 (One Thousand Maloti only).

CLARIFICATIONS
Clarification requests on the bidding documents will be accepted up to 16 February 2026, during working hours from 09:30 to 15:30.

Bids received after the closing date and time shall be rejected.
TENDER OPENING

MANDATORY VEHICLE INSPECTION
