Expression of Interest for Qualified Firms of Legal Practitioners
Overview
Metropolitan Lesotho hereby invites interested and suitably qualified firms of legal practitioners to submit proposals for consideration to be included on Metropolitan’s panel of attorneys.
1. Requirements for Inclusion of Prospective Law Firms
Prospective law firms should meet the following requirements:
- Must hold Professional Indemnity cover
- Possess expertise and experience in:
- Insurance
- Pension funds
- Labour relations
- Related areas of law
Interested law firms are expected to carry out the work with the highest dedication and maintain the highest professional standards of quality when given instructions.
2. Submission Requirements
Each submission must include the following documents:
- Practicing Certificate
- Legal fees and tariffs
- Geographical presence across different districts
- Certified copy of a valid Tax Clearance Certificate
3. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:
- Compliance with submission requirements
- Experience and capability in handling commercial-related cases
- Financial competitiveness
- References from three previous body corporates
