The Government of Lesotho through the Ministry of Energy and Meteorology is implementing a project entitled “Strengthening Climate Services in Lesotho for Climate Resilient Development and Adaptation to Climate Change”. Apart of project activities, tenders are hereby requested from suitably, qualified and reputable companies to supply and install Meteorological Equipment for weather and climate services.
Invitation to Tender:
Tenders are hereby invited from suitably qualified registered companies to submit, their technical and financial proposals to undertake the above described assignment.
Project Scope:
Supply, deliver and commission the Meteorological Equipment as stipulated in the RFP.
CONDITIONS OF THE TENDER
- Bids bearing no identification of the bidder in a sealed envelope clearly marked “SUPPLY OF METEOROLOGICAL EQUIPMENT”
- Tender documents must bear an official date stamp of the bidder, physical address and telephone/cell numbers. The signature of the Senior Official responsible for the bid must be endorsed on the certificate of Bona Fide Tendering (attached).
- Ministry of Energy Tender Panel reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders.
MANDATORY DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED
- Valid Certified copies of Trader’s License.
- Valid Certificate copies of Tax Clearance.
- Valid VAT Certificate for VAT collectors.
DATE AND TIME OF SUBMISSION
Bid documents deadline for submission must be at 10:00am, on the 14th January, 2022 in a sealed envelope clearly marked “SUPPLY OF METEOROLOGICAL EQUIPMENT”.
The documents should be as stated in the “submission and delivery of proposal” found in the RFP and deposited into the tender box located at the below address.
Tender box will be opened at 11:30am on the same day.

Request for Proposals (Tender document) for this notice will be made available and can be collected from the above address at a non-refundable fee of M2000.00 (two thousand maloti) from 20th December, 2021 until 14th January, 2022 from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
