Overview
The Lesotho Copyright Society of Authors and Artists (LESCOSAA) invites qualified and experienced professionals to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to serve as Independent Adjudicators for the LESCOSAA’s Lesotho @ 60 Music Competition.
The competition forms part of LESCOSAA’s initiative to celebrate Lesotho’s 60th Anniversary of Independence by recognising and rewarding musical excellence while promoting creativity, copyright awareness, and the sustainable growth of the country’s music industry.
Purpose
LESCOSAA seeks to appoint a panel of highly competent, credible, and independent adjudicators to evaluate competition entries in a transparent, fair, and professional manner.
Who Should Apply?
Applications are invited from individuals with experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Songwriting and composition.
- Music production.
- Music arrangement and orchestration.
- Music performance.
- Music business and artist management.
- Copyright and Intellectual Property.
- Any other relevant music industry discipline.
Application Requirements
Interested applicants should submit:
- A motivation letter outlining their suitability for the role, together with a brief biography.
- A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Contact details of two professional referees.
Assessment Criteria
Applications will be assessed based on:
- Professional experience and expertise.
- Knowledge of the music industry.
- Previous adjudication or assessment experience.
- Integrity, independence, and impartiality.
- Overall suitability for the assignment.
