Introduction

An opportunity exists to join this Investor in People Company in the above capacity. Metropolitan Lesotho is a wholly owned subsidiary of Momentum Group, a company registered on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and self‑motivated individual for the position of Executive Personal Assistant, based in Maseru, Lesotho. The incumbent will report directly to the Managing Director.

Role Purpose

To ensure the smooth running of the business by providing effective administrative assistance to the Managing Director.


Requirements

  • Diploma in a Business‑related qualification or equivalent
  • Degree will be an added advantage
  • 3–4 years’ relevant experience
  • Exposure to supporting a manager or team

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage, coordinate, and maintain the diary of the Managing Director
  • Coordinate all aspects of meetings, workshops, and functions, including venue logistics and catering, according to requirements and budget parameters
  • Provide administrative support for meetings and workshops, including:
    • Collating, compiling, and distributing agendas
    • Presentations
    • Minutes within agreed timeframes
  • Manage travel arrangements in line with agreed business processes and budgets
  • Manage incoming calls and correspondence (paper and electronic), responding independently where possible and in line with authorised judgement
  • Order and control refreshments, office supplies, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels within budget parameters
  • Ensure files (paper and electronic) are well organised and easily accessible
  • Prepare and check invoices and arrange payments to ensure adherence to requirements and Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure office equipment is regularly maintained by relevant service providers
  • Monitor and respond to incoming communication on behalf of the Managing Director, where appropriate, ensuring efficiency and timely responses
