Job Grade: Executive Level

JOB PURPOSE

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the People & Culture function by developing and implementing people strategies, culture transformation initiatives, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, remuneration governance, organisational development, learning and development, and health and safety programmes that support the achievement of Lesotho PostBank strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements the Bank’s People and Culture Strategy aligned to corporate objectives.
  • Provides strategic advice to the Managing Director, Executive Committee and Board on human capital matters.
  • Leads organisational development, culture transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Oversees performance management, talent management and succession planning frameworks.
  • Drives workforce planning and leadership development across the Bank.
  • Provides executive oversight of employee relations, labour law compliance and employee wellbeing.
  • Oversees remuneration, rewards, benefits administration and job evaluation frameworks.
  • Ensures effective learning and development programmes that address organisational capability gaps.
  • Provides oversight of occupational health and safety programmes.
  • Leads and develops the People & Culture team and manages departmental performance.
  • Develops, reviews and implements People & Culture policies and governance frameworks.
  • Manages the departmental budget and People & Culture reporting.
  • Ensures compliance with employment legislation, regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 10 years in senior management, preferably in leading people and culture teams.
  • Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
