RESPONSIBLE TO: ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of Administration Assistant, the incumbent is responsible for coordination of the registry activities, registration and classification of open and confidential correspondence, supervision and training of the staff.

MAIN DUTIES

  1. Plans and coordinates general activities of the Department’s open and confidential registries on the daily basis.
  2. Arrange proper filling system for easy access, reference and retrieval.
  3. Assigns work to staff for even distribution, and to ensure that work is carried out effectively daily.
  4. Checks that all correspondence is properly filed in relevant files and kept safely after action has been taken.
  5. Keeps all files under lock and keys safely
  6. Conducts on the job training for registry to familiarize the in their job.
  7. Apprises subordinates annually to ensure that work is done according to plan.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Diploma in Records Management

OR

Certificate in Records Management
