Description

Role Purpose

To drive revenue growth through customer acquisition and retention through strong relationships in the Vodacom Business (enterprise) space.

Key Deliverables

Develop sustainable business strategy supporting commercial objectives to include current and new business opportunities.

Expanding Vodacom Business portfolio via different channels in the different segments through appropriate and responsive products and solutions that meet and are tailored to the demands/requirements of each segment.

Ensure that the business has the desired solutions/products appropriate for the market by closely overseeing Vodacom Business product and solution teams to ensure product intelligence and development through to launch

Work closely with business analytics team to enable reporting sales strategy successes, weaknesses and opportunities and use insights to improve sales and business profits to ensure Vodacom Business catches up and overtakes competition

Provides overall leadership for Vodacom Business through developing sales targets, examining growth opportunities, sales improvements product mix and leads the team in product launches

Skills

Customer Relationship Management

Working understanding of enterprise technology

Understanding of Enterprise products

Ability to drive sales process from start to close

Ability to position products and services against competitors

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in business related fields.

An MBA will be an added advantage

Experience:

8 to 10 years’ experience in a sales role of which 5 must be in a management capacity.

Experience in telecommunications desirable
