LNLVIP is looking for a suitable candidate to work as Executive Director.
LNLVIP is an advocate organization of the visually impaired whose mandate is to Promote, Protect and to advocate for recognition and inclusion of the needs and rights of the visually impaired in Lesotho.
Candidate’s main role is to oversee the administration and all programs run by LNLVIP. Under the supervision of the Executive board He/she must:
Serve as LNLVIP’s primary spokesperson to organisations members, partners and donors.
Must be visually impaired and have strong knowledge and experience on disability issues especially visual impairment.
Must be responsible for fundraising and developing revenues necessary to support LNLVIPs mission.
Must perform all duties assigned by the executive Board.
Suitable candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in LLB, Social Work or any Social Science.
Must have ability to oversee and collaborate with Staff and have excellent donor relations skills and understanding of the funding community.
Strong written and oral communication skills is an added advantage.
