Job Opportunity Executive Direct Sales Agent (EDSA) x4

Primary Function of the Role

To market and service Liberty Life Lesotho fi­nancial solutions (product, technologies and services) to the Affluent client in order to increase the sales and to identify and attract new business and retain the existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • To identify, approach and effectively manage potential leads and call plans using the current database and personal networks to ensure the delivery of new business targets and processes.
  • To establish, retain and enhance new and existing business relationships in order to ensure increase in shareholder value.
  • To ensure end to end onboarding of new business secured with the support of functional teams in order to promote contracted service level agreement standards.
  • To penetrate group business and individual markets using existing networks and industry knowledge; and
  • To keep up to date with competitor information and market trends in order identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide customer service to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and client information.
  • Prepare periodic reports in respect of sales progress and initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Commerce, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Certifi­cate of Profi­ciency (COP) in insurance and/or a fi­nancial literacy qualifi­cation will be added advantages.

Remuneration

Basic monthly retainer of Five Thousand Maloti (M5000) + commission

  • The retainer will be paid subject to the Executive Direct Sales Agent meeting the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • The retainer will be paid for two (2) years; at the end of which the EDSA will be expected to have generated enough monthly commission to sustain them.
  • The commission will be paid monthly and as a percentage of the premium generated by the EDSA.

Experience

  • At least 4 years in ­financial service industry preferably in long term insurance industry and investment markets.
