Site work (PTY) LTD invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Executive Chef
Duties & Responsibilities include. but, not limited to:
- Menu planning together with creating new dishes
- Handle any special requests, special requirements, recommendations
concerns, resolution of complaints, issues experienced during service etc. - Maintaining a high level of food quality and production with the aim of
exceeding our client’s expectations - Interact and be present on the floor during service to ensure food quality and presentation in line with standards
- Manage the preparation of mise-en-place
- Costing, ordering and stock control and any administrative duties
- Training, supervising and motivating catering team
- To always ensure that cleanliness, food safety and all other Health and Safety matters are adhered to.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in an Executive Chef position in an industrial kitchen
- A degree/diploma in Culinary Arts.
- Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements
- Strong leadership and motivating sills including the ability to build strong
relationships with customers and staff - Financial, budgeting and stock-taking skills
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license
