Site work (PTY) LTD invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Executive Chef

Duties & Responsibilities include. but, not limited to:

  1. Menu planning together with creating new dishes
  2. Handle any special requests, special requirements, recommendations
    concerns, resolution of complaints, issues experienced during service etc.
  3. Maintaining a high level of food quality and production with the aim of
    exceeding our client’s expectations
  4. Interact and be present on the floor during service to ensure food quality and presentation in line with standards
  5. Manage the preparation of mise-en-place
  6. Costing, ordering and stock control and any administrative duties
  7. Training, supervising and motivating catering team
  8. To always ensure that cleanliness, food safety and all other Health and Safety matters are adhered to.
    Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years in an Executive Chef position in an industrial kitchen
  • A degree/diploma in Culinary Arts.
  • Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements
  • Strong leadership and motivating sills including the ability to build strong
    relationships with customers and staff
  • Financial, budgeting and stock-taking skills
  • Computer literate
  • Valid driver’s license
