Applications are invited from suitably qualified local candidates for the following vacant positions tenable at the Youth Anti- Depression Initiative (YADI).
YADI is a non-profit making organization aimed at giving hope and injecting a positive mindset to today’s youth so as to curb depression amongst them. Its main objectives are to make youth aware that in our daily lives, depression is embedded but there is a way to overcome it. That is, we fight against depression and apply effective practical ways to prevent suicidal thoughts through campaigns and counseling.
Job Title: Event Manager (1)
Duties and responsibilities
-Do event budget planning
-Organize conferences , seminars and exhibitions as well as parties and cooperate incentives trips
-Produce detailed proposals for events including timelines, venues , suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets
-Manage all pre-event planning, organizing guests speakers and delegate packs
-Carrying out post-event evaluations
Job Requirements
-Associate degree in Event Management with portfolio of successful events
-Proficiency in MS Office
-Excellent vendor management skills
