A CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST- INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT FOR PROVISION OF TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LESOTHO NATIONAL VISION
Background:
Kingdom of Lesotho`s maiden National Vision; Vision 2020 was developed in 2000 as the country`s long- term national development framework. The Vision 2020 has been the blueprint that has guided the country`s development agenda and was implemented over a duration of 20 years, a period which came to an end in the year 2020. When the National Vision came to an end, the Government in consultation with relevant stakeholders decided to develop another long-term Vision to guide and direct the country`s development path beyond 2020.
The Government of Lesotho (GOL) seeks to develop a new National Vision to renew the country`s development priorities and aspirations, therefore the GoL through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning requires the services of a suitably qualified consultant who possesses the required skills and competencies to provide professional guidance and coordination of the functions of developing the new National Vision for Basotho.
General Scope of Work:
The purpose of this assignment is to lead the process of developing a new National Vision. As part of the process, the Consultant will make an assessment of Lesotho`s development challenges, manage thematic consultants, build capacity of the Secretariat and facilitate the preparation of the New National Vision for Lesotho.
ISSUANCE & SUBMISSION
Tender documents are available at Development Planning Headquarters (Procurement Unit) from Tuesday the 16th of January, 2024. All tenders will be opened on Tuesday the 27th of February, 2024 at 14:30 hours at the Ministry of Finance & Development Planning Boardroom.
Bid responses must be submitted in one (1) original and four (4) hard copies to the Ministry`s Tender Box situated at 3rd Floor (Finance House), Government Complex, Old High Court Rd, Maseru, not later than 12:00 noon, 27th February,2024. The Bid documents must be in a sealed envelope bearing no identification of the Bidder marked EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LESOTHO NATIONAL VISION
