MINISTRY OF TRADE, INDUSTRY AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IN SUPPLY OF GOODS, WORKS AND SERVICES
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Business Development intends to develop a supplier database suitable and eligible to provide goods and services under the following categories.
Reputable firms, suppliers of goods and services, consultants and contractors are invited to submit Business Profiles for registration in the Ministry’s database for the provision of goods, works and services. The registration is for pre-qualification for future business deals for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 financial years.
This invitation is open to qualified and legally registered businesses at local, national, regional and international levels, with the capacity, capability, experience and systems to deliver in line with procurement requirements and ethical standards as per the Lesotho Procurement Act 2023.
CATEGORIES
- Procurement of Goods/Plant/ICT – e.g. office furniture, stationery, cleaning materials, protective clothing, software, hardware, etc.
- Procurement of Works – e.g. construction works, electrical works, plumbing, etc.
- Non-Consulting Services – e.g. cleaning services, security services, catering, boarding and lodging, fleet maintenance, printing and publishing, etc.
- Consulting Services – e.g. financial audits, legal advisory, training programme development, etc.
ELIGIBILITY FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
Eligibility for pre-qualification will be based on the following information, among others:
- Company profile detailing the registration, current physical address, contact details, services provided, similar assignments and references of previous assignments, including contact details.
- A minimum of two references in the form of reference letters from previous clients.
- Company business trading documents, including:
- Valid trader’s licence certified at source
- Valid tax clearance
- Certificate of incorporation
- VAT certificate, where applicable

Expressions of interest for supplier database registration must be submitted in PDF format to:

For email submissions, use the following subject line:
Business Profile Submission – Company Name – Category
Suppliers wishing to submit for multiple categories must submit separate emails with a different email subject for each category.

Late submissions may not be considered.
