Call for Expression of Interest
Submission of Civil Society Organization Profiles for the EU Mapping Exercise and Contribution to the Structured Dialogue
The European Union Delegation to Lesotho, under the Cooperation Facility and Support Measures, has provided technical assistance to support civil society in Lesotho. This support aims to conduct a mapping exercise of civil society organizations whose mandates and portfolios align with the priorities of the Multi-Annual Indicative Plan 2021–2027, focusing on:
- Promoting good governance
- Building a peaceful and just society
- Fostering a green and resilient economy
This initiative is intended to enhance the effectiveness and impact of EU engagement with civil society in Lesotho.
Who Should Submit Profiles
This call is directed to civil society organizations/non-governmental organizations involved in initiatives related to:
- Climate Change
- Water
- Energy
- Governance
Eligible entities include:
- National, locally registered Non-Governmental Organizations
- Foreign Non-Governmental Organizations with a presence or intent to operate in Lesotho
- International Non-Governmental Organizations
- Non-registered organizations planning to register within the next 12 months
- Non-registered grassroots organizations and groups (including youth and women’s groups) working on environment, water, energy, health, education, culture, human rights, and governance
- Thematic and geographical civil society networks and platforms
- Social enterprises and not-for-profit companies working on energy, water, agriculture, and environment
- Research centres and university institutes working on energy, water, environment, human rights, and local governance
