The Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) invites suitably qualified investors to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the development and management of a souvenir and coffee shop at the iconic Thaba Bosiu Tourist Information Office.
Project Overview
Located at one of Lesotho’s most significant heritage and tourism sites, this opportunity offers a strategic platform to develop a vibrant retail and hospitality outlet that enhances visitor experience while promoting local culture and products.
Scope of Investment
The scope of investment includes, but is not limited to:
• Design and development of a souvenir and coffee shop with modern fittings
• Operation and management of the coffee and souvenir shop
• Promotion and sale of locally produced crafts and products
• Provision of quality finger foods and beverage services

• Experienced hospitality and tourism operators
• Retail investors focusing on cultural and heritage products
• Joint ventures and consortia with proven track records
Submission Requirements
Interested applicants must submit the following:
• Company profile showing relevant experience
• Valid Trader’s License and Tax Clearance Certificate
• Concept note/proposal for the development
• Proof of financial capability to undertake the development and operations
Submission Deadline
The deadline for submission of EOIs is Friday, 05th June 2026 at 16:00 hrs.
All submissions must be deposited in the LTDC Tender Box and clearly labelled:
“Expression of Interest for Thaba Bosiu Souvenir and Coffee Shop”
