LESOTHO HIGHLANDS WATER PROJECT – PHASE II
CONTRACT LHDA NO. 4020 CONSTRUCTION OF POLIHALI DAM AND APPURTENANT WORKS
- SUN Joint Venture has been awarded a contract by Lesotho Highlands Water Project –Phase II, Contract LHDA No. 4020 for Construction of Polihali Dam and Appurtenant Works and it intends to apply Part of the proceeds of this contract to payments under the contract for:

- Interested Companies should submit complete set of Expression of Interest Documents in English. The Contractor has a right to increase or reduce the quantity of the items. The closing date for submission of proposals is 1st February 2024; 17:00hrs. All submissions should be submitted on or before the closing date and time. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Submissions must be clearly marked: “Expression of interest for Phase II, Contract LHDA No. 4020 for Construction of Polihali Dam and Appurtenant works, Sub-Contracted works” – The interested parties must clearly indicate which part of the work they are interested in.

SUN JV will consider submissions from Lesotho National enterprises and South African National enterprises.
“Lesotho National Enterprise” shall be any legal entity meeting the definition given in the LHWP Phase II Agreement of August 2011, Article 1, provided that for any entity registered after August 2011, more than 75% shareholding is by Lesotho Nationals.
“RSA Black-Owned Enterprises” shall be Black Owned Enterprises (BOEs) in terms of South African legislation (>50.1% Black ownership and substantial Black management).
“RSA Enterprises” shall be those residents, operating and managed in the Republic of South Africa, registered in South Africa in terms of the South African legislation and complying to all regulations.

- Traders License (applies to Lesotho enterprise)
- BBBEE Certificate (applicable to South African enterprises only)
- ID Documents of Directors
- Provide brief description of similar Projects Executed and completed and give reference to be contacted.
- Audited Financial Reports
