POSITION: (ECO) Environmental Officer

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Environmental Science or related fields
REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES
- 5 years’ experience
- Identifying & assessing previously unforeseen, actual or potential impacts on the environment
- Ensuring approved waste management practices are implemented daily
- Advising the contractor on the rectification of any pollution, contamination or damage to the construction site, rights of way & adjacent land
- Developing and maintaining various registers and checklists
- Conducting environmental audits of subcontractors and suppliers
- Advising/recommending action to address issues that have an adverse impact on the environment including the social environment
