SUN JV (a joint venture among SINOHYDRO BUREAU 8 CO., LTD, SINOHYDRO BUREAU 14 CO., LTD, UNIK CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD, and NTHANE BROTHERS PTY LTD) is the appointed Contractor for the Construction of Polihali Dam and Appurtenant Works under the Lesotho Highlands Water Project – Phase II.
SUN JV invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Environmental Control Officer.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Environmental Science
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in construction or mining industry
Additional Requirements / Remarks:
• Ability to manage day‑to‑day onsite implementation of environmental aspects of the CEMP
• Prepare progress reports
• Provide input into the review and approval of environmental Method Statements
• Monitor activities of staff or subcontractors to ensure compliance with EMS and ES
• Maintain environmental data records
• Advise the contractor’s EM on rectification of pollution or site damage and develop necessary CAR
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
• Experience in construction/mining will serve as an added advantage
