Child Welfare Durban seeks to appoint an Enrolled Nurse to be based in Durban.
Enrolled Nurse’ are professionals/experts who are oftentimes expected to deal with vulnerable children and adolescents. The Enrolled Nurse is required to be social as their job frequently involves working with, communicating with, and teaching people. Enrolled Nurse duties often involve helping or providing service to others. Within this Organisation they are primarily responsible for:
Seeking to improve the physical, emotional, intellectual as well as social development of children;
Establish a one on one relationship with the children and coordinate treatment interventions for them within the Child and Youth Care Institution;
The Enrolled Nurse’s role is to support the Residential Social Work Manager in providing the best quality childcare in a safe and care focused environment for the young people. When on shift you will have initial responsibilities for monitoring and supervision of assigned staff and take responsibility for the day to day management, and guidance of colleagues whilst ensuring the welfare and care of the young people
