JOB SUMMARY
The Engineering Intern shall assist the Engineering Manager with engineering-related activities at MG Health Limited. The Engineering Department provides advice, training, and technical support on site-wide activities, with a particular focus on Manufacturing and Cultivation Technical Processes.

The department is also responsible for completing efficiency and continuous improvement projects and collaborates closely with the Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Validation Departments on new equipment projects as well as modifications and improvements to existing processes.

This internship is intended to prepare the candidate for a future Assistant Process Engineer or Process Engineer role.

The Engineering Intern reports directly to the Engineering Manager.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the Engineering Manager with manufacturing, cultivation, and estate services technical activities
• Provide technical support for site-wide operations
• Participate in projects involving new or modified equipment
• Support building management systems, including the Environmental Monitoring System (EMS)
• Assist with preventative maintenance, calibration, and control of equipment
• Prepare technical drawings of site systems layouts (electrical, water, mechanical, fire, cryogenics, and utilities)
• Support commissioning of systems
• Assist with control setting configurations in response to seasonal changes

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• The role requires a balance between site-based work (manufacturing factory, estate, and cultivation premises) and office-based duties
• Exposure to seasonal ambient conditions during troubleshooting and investigation of system faults
• Ability to work in close proximity to pressurized water loops, hazardous or flammable areas, and bulk storage cryogenics tanks
• Ability to resolve alarms and faults or adjust settings with a clear understanding of control logic

QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, and/or Process Engineering
• Relevant technical qualification
