In telecommunications, the core network is the central element of a network that provides services to customers who are connected by the access network. Since the “first” mobile call in Lesotho, core networks have been integral part of every call (voice, sms, data, supplementary) that has transfers through Vodacom Lesotho network. Once you are here, your will find the inner self and do your best knowing you are indeed touching lives of so many people in and outside Lesotho borders. 
Your responsibility will include ensuring proper running of Core Services network elements by supporting and administering the systems with preventive measures, troubleshooting and debugging of problems in order to guarantee the highest quality of experience for our customers. 
Identify faults and took prompt action to troubleshoot and repair faults or escalate them accordingly
Execute configuration changes on all Core Services Network Elements and services as planned
Perform functionality tests on all Core Services network elements and solutions
Carry out demand and capacity planning for Core Services environment
Provide regular reports to management on assigned projects
Collect and collate information and prepare reports for timely submission to system owners and management.
Provide second line support for customer facing staff.
Implement, maintain security standards and protocols on the Core Services systems
Execute policy compliance checks on all Core Services systems and solutions
It Would Be Nice if You have
Degree or equivalent in Telecommunication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or relevant tertiary qualification. (Master’s degree will be an added advantage)
