Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Letšeng”), a private company owned by Gem Diamonds Limited (“Gem”) (70%) and the Government of Lesotho (“GoL”) (30%) has insourced process function which consists of Plant Maintenance, Plant operation and Plant Procurement. As part of this insourcing, Letšeng is looking for suitable candidates for the position of ELECTRICIAN
Duties & Responsibilities
To safely install, repair, commission, calibrate, inspect, replace, maintain and operate electrical equipment to ensure optimum process plant performance so that production targets are achieved.
Desired Qualification, Experience Skills & Competencies
Engineering Degree, Diploma, or equivalent or a recognised electrical trade certificate plus a proven track record in the electrical field in the mining industry
Minimum of 3 years working experience as a certified electrican in the mining processing industry
Detailed knowledge and experience of processing plant electrical reticulation and control systems.
Good experience with equipment maintenance and fault-finding techniques.
Strong quality orientation in terms of work standards.
Valid drivers license
Free from vertigo and not colour blind
