What will you do?
In this position you will join our Offshoring Built Environment Centre, we are searching for a young, and vibrant technician to assist in a variety of international projects.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Directly involved with a variety of project work from an electrical perspective.
- Preparation of properly formatted drawings based on engineering sketches and mark-ups
- Assist with site investigations, construction monitoring, snagging , testing and commissioning, as well as competent in Revit , with clear skill capability that can be proven
- Assist with engineering designs and calculations, e.g., load calculations, lighting level simulations, Fault level and volt drop calculations.
- Assist lead engineers and/or designers in preparing and assembling contract documentation.
We know today’s complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.
What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with at least 3 – 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Technician, dealing with building services projects.
