INVITATION TO TENDER
The Lesotho Electricity Company (Pty) Ltd (LEC) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders (Electrical Contractors/Suppliers) for the provision of necessary Goods and Works, design, labour, materials, equipment, installation, commissioning, testing, and other technical engineering services necessary for the successful completion of REFURBISHMENT OF MAFETENG SUB-STATION.
The works involve but not limited to the following;
(a) Design, supply, installation, documentation of as built drawings and commissioning of ten x 11kV circuit breakers (one bus-section, six feeders and two incomers, one Aux transformer feeder with VT`s 11000/110V each and) at Mafeteng, Lesotho.
(b) All other necessary works to connect, energise and commission all the new circuit breakers at Mafeteng Sub-station.
(c) Decommission, remove out and hand over to LEC aged panels
(d) Comprehensive contracts management.
Tenderers are warned that all sections MUST be completed and that any omissions to this form may invalidate the tender.

A complete set of bidding documents is available from Procurement Office.
Bids must be delivered to the tender box located at LEC Management Block reception on or before 26th March, 2020 at 14:00hrs
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on the 26th March, 2020 at 14:00hrs at the LEC offices Maseru.
Site Visit: The bidder is advised that it is his responsibility to visit and examine the site of works and its surroundings and obtain for himself, all information that may be necessary for preparing the tender and entering into a contract. The costs of visiting the site and obtaining the necessary information shall be borne by the bidders. There will be a pre-bid meeting that will be followed by a site visit on the 12th March, 2020 at 09:00hrs at the LEC Offices Mafeteng.
Clarifications shall be communicated in writing seven (7) Calendar days before the tender closing date.
