Role Purpose
Finance Operations is responsible for managing key processes involved in ensuring the accuracy of actual accounting information and preparing the financial statements as well as credit control functions. The main focus of the position is the formulation of financial policies and procedures and ensures full implementation thereof. In addition, Finance Operations manages systems strategy and governance, and master data of the COA and GL.
Key Responsibilities
Guarantee the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all accounting actuals.
Provide finance systems strategy and governance.
Provide end-to-end global process governance.
Ensure superior compliance to financial requirements/rules.
Lead Finance Transformation to deliver world-class transaction processing.
External and Internal Audit planning and support
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant or B.Com Accounting honours degree
Experience
At least 5 years financial management experience, preferably in a public enterprise environment.
ICT industry experience an advantage.
5yrs management/supervisory experience.
