REAP is a national NPO and Associate Body of the Southern African Catholic Bishops’ Conference that facilitates access to post-school education & training opportunities for learners from low income households in rural areas.
REAP is seeking to appoint an educational or counselling psychologist to prepare high school learners for teritiary This will include psychometric testing and career guidance to be based in Bloemfontein.
The successful candidate will hold a Masters degree in either educational or counselling psychology and be registered with HPCSA. They should be self-motivated, ethical with professional maturity and have high work energy levels. He/she must have a passion for youth development and be able to adapt to a changing environment. The position will be based in Bloemfontein.
Duration: 2 year contract
Start date:1st August 2021
Minimum specific requirements:
Postgraduate qualifications in educational or counselling psychology
Registered with HPCSA
Experience with psychometrics in aptitude, interest and personality
Code B driver’s licence with driving experience
Other requirements:

Experience working in a secondary school environment
Excellent written and verbal communication
Excellent facilitation skills
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
Computer literacy – Microsoft Suite and database systems
