The Educational Consultant is responsible for designing, evaluating, and enhancing academic programs, curriculum, instructional strategies, and educational initiatives that support the Institute’s mission. The role involves collaborating with faculty, administrators, healthcare professionals, industry partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure that educational programs meet national and international quality standards while addressing current and emerging workforce needs.Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on curriculum design, review, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop competency-based educational programs in biomedical sciences, healthcare, and technology.
- Advise management on educational policies, academic standards, accreditation requirements, and quality assurance.
- Conduct educational needs assessments and recommend innovative learning solutions.
- Evaluate teaching methodologies and recommend improvements to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Design training materials, instructional resources, and assessment tools.
- Support faculty development through coaching, workshops, and professional training.
- Monitor emerging trends in healthcare education, biomedical research, digital learning, and educational technology.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to develop new academic and professional development programs.
- Assist in preparing accreditation documents and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze educational data and prepare reports on program effectiveness and student performance.
- Recommend the integration of e-learning platforms, simulation technologies, and digital learning resources.
- Participate in institutional strategic planning and academic development initiatives.
- Build partnerships with universities, healthcare institutions, professional associations, and industry stakeholders.
- Ensure educational programs align with labor market demands and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Biomedical Sciences, Health Sciences, Medical Education, Public Health, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Medical Education, Health Professions Education, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
- Professional certifications in curriculum development, instructional design, educational leadership, or quality assurance are an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in educational consulting, curriculum development, academic program management, or higher education.
- Experience within healthcare, biomedical sciences, medical education, or technical education is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting accreditation, quality assurance, or institutional development initiatives is an advantage.
