A new opportunity has arisen within a leading NPO for a dynamic degreed individual with a passion for education and community development. A programme manager is needed for a new project within the Eastern Cape Region. The vision is to accelerate the next generation of South African Youth into the Digital Economy through mathematics, robotics and coding education.
This two-year contract is for a technology savvy candidate with literacy in Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Google, Gmail, Browsers, PC and Mobile devices. A self-starter with strong stakeholder engagement is required. Salary range:
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage field team (Educator Assistants)
Support schools to delivery quality Maths instruction by supporting educators on the programme and scheduling training of school staff
Maintain strong district relationships which includes reporting, feedback etc
Monitor, Evaluate and Report on Programme Performance
Management of Materials and Equipment
Minimum Requirements:
B.Ed. degree or equivalent
5-10 years work experience in Education or similar community development
Project Management experience advantageous
Excellent communication skills
