Project: Construction of Resettlement Villages and Replacement Housing in the Polihali Inundation Area
UNIK Construction Engineering Lesotho (Pty) Ltd invites suitably qualified candidates for the following urgent, full-time, project-based appointments. Candidates must be immediately available.
COMPULSORY REQUIREMENTS
Immediate availability and successful, hands-on experience in a similar ED, Development Objectives, local-content, preferential-procurement or socio-economic compliance role on a construction or infrastructure project. General procurement or administrative experience alone is not sufficient.
ED Lead / Development Objectives Manager
Responsible for the PI-P5 system covering Employment, National Participation, Preferential Recruitment, Enterprise Development and Skills Development, including monthly reporting, evidence control, reconciliations, corrective actions and six-monthly/final assessment packs.
Requirements:
- Relevant diploma or degree in construction, commercial, project-management, business, social-performance or development discipline.
- At least five years’ construction/infrastructure experience, including at least three years in a similar ED or compliance role.
- Strong Excel, reporting, evidence-control and reconciliation skills.
- FIDIC, LHDA or Lesotho local-participation experience is advantageous.
