We have an excellent opportunity in our Economic Policy and Small States Section for two Economic Research Officers.
The successful candidate will be required to build on outcomes from Commonwealth Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors annual meetings, help keep the Commonwealth economic tools relevant and current for member states, be at the forefront of research for vulnerable Small States, help shape flagship Commonwealth economic publications, and provide research support to ongoing programmes.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need A post-graduate degree in Economics or a relevant Post Graduate degree with a strong focus on sustainable development, at least 3 years’ experience working on economic research, and strong analytical skills, with experience of working effectively within a small team. Experience in addressing different audiences, an interest in development issues including debt, vulnerability/vulnerability indices and financial technology, and experience in authoring technical papers in peer-reviewed journals; book chapters or standalone articles is desirable.
