What you can expect
Responsible for general management accounting, cost centre reporting and analysis, and providing required information to the business and relevant stakeholders. Core responsibilities will include the following:
- Maintain the confidentiality of data within the organization
- Overview of sales as required within the organization (articles, segment, ship to, sold to, in line with internal organization)
- Planning / Target Setting – Prepare yearly Budgets and for Capital Expenditure / Personnel Sales / Cost & Profit & Loss statements for operating division
- Forecasting – ensure forecasting of all main KPIs on monthly basis
- Responsible for cost center budgeting and coordinate the annual budgeting process (RBU, local management, platform)
- Provide guidance to management on controlling topics of effectivity, efficiency, profitability, processes
- Support Finance organization for internal audits or financial audits
- KPIs as defined by RBU and Management – sales, costs, profitability, others (DIV, DSO,)
- Analysis of current KPIs compared to strategy and budget of the entity
- Follow up on tasks and require the fulfillment of the task in order to meet the expected results within the organization
- Assist the functional & operational units with regard to controlling matters/gap analysis/consulting
- Presentation of results to management and together with management set measures and tasks – RBU
- Set up product costing, set the business processes, monthly analyze, adjust the product costing based on new processes, investments
- Cost Centre Management – Ensure compliance with BASF guidelines
What we expect
- Tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounting or Business Management required
- Minimum 5 years experience within Management Accounting or Business Analysis
- Master the BASF Business Warehouse Systems: PRISMA / GIIC / World Account / COBUS / MARIS / CARAT
- Proficient with formulas, pivot tables, macros etc.
