Letšeng seeks to engage qualified Basotho professionals with appropriate skills and aptitude to fill four positions of EARTH MOVING MACHINERY OPERATORS (Paterson Band BU).

PURPOSE: Reporting to the Jaw Crusher Technician and Plant Metallurgist under the plant production projects in the Treatment Department. The candidates will be involved in operating the mobile jaw crusher, excavator and front-end loader for the Mobile Crushing Project.

MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure compliance with all HSE programme requirements
• Operate the earth moving machinery (mobile jaw crusher, front-end loader and excavator)
• Conduct the pre-use and post use inspection of the machinery
• Clean underneath the mobile jaw crusher conveyor using the front-end loader
• Maintain the crushed material stockpile level using the front-end loader
• Feed the production plant with pre-crushed ore material using the front-loader
• Operate the excavator to feed the mobile jaw crusher with ore

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum requirement of COSC with qualification and competency to operate earth moving machinery (front-end loader and excavator)
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in production or load and haul
• Competency and skill to operate mobile jaw crusher will be an added advantage
• Light Motor Vehicle Driver’s licence
• Good verbal and written communication skills

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Candidates will be required to undergo medical examination of fitness as per the requirements
• Candidates will be required to undergo Letšeng’s security background checks where deemed necessary
