DEPARTMENT: MOSHOESHOE 1 AIRPORT, ADMINISTRATION BUILDINGS DESIGN SERVICES & TRAFFIC
POSITION TITLE: DRIVER
GRADE: C
RESPONSIBLE TO: ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
NUMBER OF POSTS: SIX (6)
MAIN DUTIES:
- Performs driving duties and takes care of the Government vehicles for which he or she is responsible.
- Takes care of vehicles by adhering to the duties of a Driver as tabulated under Driver’s Instructions. This includes maintenance of vehicles as well as serving them and that all accidents caused to by the vehicle, he or she is responsible for, are reported on time.
- 3. Be prepared to be assigned driving duties on early or late shifts and ensures that due authority is obtained for vehicle operating after normal working hours.
- 4. Secures vehicle equipment and ensures that the vehicle is always securely parked with locking devices.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- C.O.S.C plus a valid Code B Driver’s license.
- At least three (3) years’ experience as a driver.
- Standard pass from Accident Enquiry Board.
- Defensive driving shall be an added advantage.
