JOB TITLE : DRIVER

RESPONSIBLE TO : HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
JOB SUMMARY
1. Driving the Ministry’s vehicle:
- Conveys member of the staff to their respective places of work in order to execute the Ministry’s activities daily.
- 1.2 Delivers/ collects items from/ to different places
- 1.3 Transports clients from the Health center to hospital to obtain medical services and from hospitals to the Health center.
- 1.4 Transports center’s clients from center to either clients’ homes or areas of need.
2. Maintenance of vehicles:
- checks oil, fuel, tyres of the vehicles to ensure sound conditions of the vehicles and to determine need for service.
- Washes the vehicle to keep it clean
- Regularly takes the vehicle for services and repairs for its fitness
- Maintains the vehicles’ service and log book
3. Vehicle security
- Parks the vehicle in secure areas for safety
- Locks the vehicle’s doors and activities, security devices to minimize theft.
JOB SPECIFICATION
COSC OR GCE plus a valid driver’s license with at least five (5) years driving experience and must have passed assessment test.
