Job Responsibilities

  • To provide effective logistics support to the Projects, enhance transport services and provide a wide range of expedient support services for the National Office staff  
  • To ensure that all errands are carried out in timely manner
  • To ensure that vehicles are clean and mechanically sound at all times 
  • To make sure that all allocated vehicle is regularly checked for any defects 
  • Communicate World Vision’s Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.
  • Transport stakeholder, WV staff, sponsors to and from the field in safe manner
  • Monitoring mileage travelled through use of logbook
  • Adherence of traffic regulations

Education, knowledge & skills, licenses preferred, and all experiences required to perform this position in a fully competent manner.

  • Should have five years in the same position with experience of 4×4 vehicles with clean driving record, NGO experience will be added advantage
  • Should hold COSC/LGCSE or Diploma
  • Should be able to communicate in both Sesotho and English
  • Should have 5 years  drivers licence
  • Effective in written and verbal communication in English
  • Defensive driving Certificate
  • Mental qualities – Intelligent, analytical, mental alertness and a quick decision maker, able to balance work and leisure.
  • Skill or talents – proactive, self-driven and result oriented individual with basic knowledge of Motor vehicle mechanics and computer literate.
  • Personality & temperaments – placid, honest & reliable individual who is a good team player with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Child rights and child protection.
  • Good knowledge of the country routes.
