VACANCY: DRIVER / MESSENGER
Job Title: Driver / Messenger
Reports To: Bursar (CFO)
Responsible For: Transporting CAS staff on all authorized official trips

Main Purpose of the Job:
To transport CAS staff, students, and supplies on approved official trips, and support delivery/collection of mail, banking, and other logistical needs of the institution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive CAS vehicles strictly for official assignments as directed by management.
- Safely transport students on educational visits and other approved trips.
- Drive CAS staff on authorized business trips.
- Deliver and collect mail locally and obtain signatures where required.
- Collect supplies from suppliers, such as bookstores and wholesalers.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and logbook entries; fuel vehicles and check oil, water, and tyre pressure.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and roadworthiness of all CAS vehicles.
- Advise the Registrar on expired license disks for compliance.
- Report any repair and servicing needs to the Registrar.
- Take good care of all CAS vehicles.
- Perform any other relevant duties as required.
Qualifications, Attributes, and Experience:
- Minimum qualification: COSC
- Valid Light Motor Vehicle driver’s license (endorsed), Public Driver’s License, and Defensive Driving Certificate
- At least 10 years of driving experience
- Basic proficiency in English; able to read and write in Sesotho and English
- Sober habits and good time management skills
- Client-oriented approach, tact, and ability to work with diverse individuals
