JOB TITLE: Driver

RESPONSIBLE TO: Transport Officer
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Transport Officer, the incumbent is generally responsible for the driving and taking proper care of Government vehicles.
Main Duties
- Driving and taking care of Government vehicles
- Maintenance of the logbook
- Maintenance and cleanliness of Government vehicles
- Advising the Transport Officer regarding the due dates of the vehicle’s service
- Reporting on any damage to the vehicle and losses of vehicle parts and other related incidents
Job Specification
- A minimum of COSC/LGCSE Certificate
- A valid driver’s license
- A minimum of five (5) years driving experience
- A certificate of competence to drive Government vehicles as assessed by the Traffic Department
- A clean accident-free record
- Ability to drive in all areas of the country and the neighboring countries
