Overview:
We are looking for punctual candidate(s) with good time management skills for the position of driver. A Driver is responsible for delivering office staff, packages and equipment in a timely manner, delivering beyond working hours, on weekends and ensuring that vehicle(s) is always ready for use, among other duties.
A candidate will sometimes need to lift heavy objects and load them into the vehicle, requiring upper body strength and physical stamina but this is not always the case.
Driver Responsibilities:
- Transporting staff from the office to the meetings or venues and vice versa.
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
- Delivering packages from the suppliers to the office and clients in a timely manner.
- Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
- Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
- Interacting with clients in a professional conduct.
- Driving beyond working hours and on weekends.
- Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
- Ensuring that vehicle(s) have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.
- Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
- Updating monthly mileage records.
- Driving a light passenger vehicle
Driver Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license.
- 3 years driving experience around Lesotho Highlands and lowlands)
- Extensive knowledge of driving in South Africa and other SADC countries is an added advantage.
- Physical strength and ability to lift up light heavy objects
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal communication both in Sesotho and English.
- Proficiency using GPS devices.
