The Lehakoe Recreation and Cultural Centre is inviting suitably qualified Basotho nationals to apply for the position of Driver tenable at LRCC Gymnasium and Clubhouse Units, in Maseru. The appointment is on a fixed term contract ending on the 31st December, 2022
Job Purpose
Under the general supervision and guidance of the Human Resources Administrator, the duties of the Driver involve ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements for driving a a vehicle and driving on public roads. The driver is also responsible for the general cleanliness of the vehicles allocated to be under his care and ensuring they are serviced timely and all their required permits are updated.
Key performance areas /Responsibilities
- To safely and timely transport all goods and personnel as per authorised request
- To collect and deliver mail to and from various places as instructed
- To clean the vehicle under own care as frequently as necessary
- To ensure own and vehicles compliance with applicable legislature requirements.
Qualifications:
C.O.S.C or Metric with more than five (5) years valid Code C drivers licence plus public drivers
permit.
Experience:
Five years’ experience as a driver.
