Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Transport Officer, the incumbent is generally responsible for the driving and proper care of Government vehicles.
Main Duties
- Drive and take proper care of Government vehicles.
- Maintain the logbook.
- Maintain the cleanliness of Government vehicles.
- Advise the Transport Officer regarding the due dates of vehicle servicing.
- Report any damage to vehicles, loss of vehicle parts and other related incidents.
Job Specification
- A minimum of GCE certificate.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ driving experience.
- A certificate of competence to drive Government vehicles as assessed by the Traffic Department.
- A clean and accident-free driving record.
