JOB TITLE: DRIVER
Whom you will report to: Operations Manager
What you will do:
– Deliver fresh produce from the market to various customers.
– Deliver fresh produce from farms and various suppliers to the market when need arises.
– Deliver peaople and parcels to and from various places.
– Monitor stock movements and deliver invoices.
– Ensure vehicles’ cleanliness, in line with hygiene.
– Monitor vehicle road worthiness and report any issues in a timely manner
– Keep up-to-date records of all vehicles’ kits
– Unload fresh produce from the truck and place it in an orderly manner on the market floor using a forklift.
– To load goods onto the market vehicles for delivery to the customers.
– To prepare pallets and keep up-to-date inventory of pallets with the assistance of general workers.
– To assist on the trading floor and perform any duty relevant at the workplace as required by the supervisor,
Qualifications and Experience:
– Must hold at minimum, a Code B license with public drivers’ permit.
– Two years of experience as a driver
– Must have completed Form E, with a COSC or LGCSE certificate.
– Ability to operate a forklift is an added advantage
