The Road Fund was established by Legal Notice No. 179 of 1995, and regulated under the Finance (Road Fund) Regulations 2012, with the primary objective of providing a mechanism for progressive transformation of the road sector, whereby the fiscal
burden for maintenance of roads is gradually being shifted from the Government to users of public roads. Overall management of the Fund rests with the Road Fund Board, which was established by Legal Notice No. 16 of 1996 whilst the day to day
operations of the Fund are entrusted to the Secretariat.
The Road Fund Board requires the services of a suitably qualified Lesotho National to fill the position of Driver.
Job Purpose
The incumbent is responsible for effective and efficient transport and mail delivery services.
Qualifications, Working Experience, and Knowledge:
COSC plus five (5) years of experience as a driver;
Valid driver’s license;
Defensive driving certificate;
Reputable experience driving in the highlands.
Remuneration
Salary will be in accordance with the Road Fund scales of remuneration, which are competitive and market related.
