Drill & Engineering Lesotho is currently looking for suitably qualified and competent Basotho individuals to apply for the following position based at Liqhobong Mine Site͖
POSITION: Drill Rig Operator x 2
JOB DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE
- Pre-operational checks
- Operation of the drill equipment
- Drill holes accurately according to pre-determined measurements
- Reports faults on the Drill Rigs
- Prevent or minimize downtime
- Retrieve lost equipment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- COSC / Matric
- Drill Rig Operator Certificate
- Driver’s license
- At least 2 (two) years’ experience on Drill Rigs
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of drilling equipment
- Knowledge of drilled holes and measurements
- Good communication skills
- Teamwork
