To provide an administrative service to manufacturing and therefore ensuring the availability of production data for
reference, decision-making, trend analysis and verification purposes.

Competence Requirements

Qualifications/Experience

Studying towards a Logistics / Production Management diploma or equivalent

2-3 years relevant experience

Ms Excel/Word proficiency

Knowledge of SAP MM & SAP CO

Output and Accountabilities

KEY OUTPUTS

Provided administrative support

To complete administrative functions so that all DPR documentation can be timeously handled whilst providing a quality

service.

All administrative activities meet customer standards and are in line with company policies and procedures (timeous,

accurate, etc.)

PROVIDE AD HOC, WEEKLY AND MONTHLY PRODUCTION REPORTS:
To provide ad hoc, weekly and monthly production reports to meet the specific needs of the customer.

Information is processed accurately and timeously.

The various systems are effectively utilised to obtain the required information and in appropriate detail.

Professional, neat and concise reports.

PROVIDE INVENTORY CONTROL SUPPORT:
To provide inventory control support.

Data is provided timeously to inventory department to ensure effective stock recording, monitoring and balancing.

MAINTAIN MANUFACTURING DAILY PRODUCTION REPORT (DPR):
To continuously maintain the manufacturing daily production report so that accurate manufacturing data is available for

analysis and decision making purposes

Unclear or inaccurate information is followed up, verified and corrected when necessary

Information is reconciled in order to ensure accuracy

Data is analyzed and trends are identified

FILED DOCUMENTATION:
To file daily production information for record, reference and validation purposes

PRODUCTION TEAMS COACHING:
Coaching and training of shift teams on DPR and materials management

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES

Knowledge of manufacturing process

Packaging production experience

Ms Excel/Word proficiency is a pre-requisite

SAP knowledge is highly advantageous

Strong people management skills
