Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Obtains documentation from several computer-based systems
- Reviews documentation for accuracy
- Troubleshoots various issues by researching previous documentation, as necessary
- Utilizes a computer-based file tracking system to process and issue reports
- Uses a report template to generate a draft letter for clients
- Finalizes certifications by making changes to drafts, merging information, printing the document, and sorting accordingly
- Provides status updates on assignments for the weekly departmental reports
- Learns the technical vocabulary necessary to communicate effectively with engineering staff and manufacturers
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Business School or Legal Assistant Certification helpful, but not required
- Must speak, read and write fluent English
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or legal field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of the team and clients/prospective clients
- Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
- Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness
- Clear credit and criminal record
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must have the ability to work at a computer for extensive periods of time
- Must have the ability to read (paper and/or computer screen) for extended periods of time
- Must have the ability to speak on the telephone with clients/prospective clients for extended periods of time
Hours/Availability: Full-time, 40 hours per week; ability to work overtime, as needed
